Nick Lodge is the Founder and Lead Consultant of ONSIDE, a specialist in creating brands and experiences that inspire, connect, and drive growth.
Following a long career working with global brands such as Gap, JD Sports, Mamas & Papas, and Adidas, as well as noted retail consultancy Visual Thinking.
Following 6 years with Adidas as Head of Branded Space Projects. Nick founded ONSIDE in June 2020. Since then, he has delivered numerous brand definition, commercial strategy, and digital projects for a variety of major brands, retailers and B2B businesses, such as: Aston Martin, Evoke, Oneiota, AirClad, FanNFC and Valley to name a few.
Nick’s approach combines strategic vision, creative impact, and innovative technology to deliver brand experiences that stand out and endure. With a future-first mindset, he focuses on helping brands anticipate change, embrace new possibilities, and lead rather than follow.

FAVOURITE PROJECT?
As a big Manchester United fan, I was fortunate enough to redesign the MUFC Megastore as part of the Adidas, kit supplier agreement in 2015.
This was a project fraught with challenges! Each one seemed more challenging than the last - however a combination of effective planning, innovative solutions and good old team work, ensured it was a huge success.
THOUGHT LEADERSHIP?
We’ve delivered a number of thought leadership strategies for clients in recent years - from insight reports, white-papers to podcasts.
By far the most effective and impactful project we’ve delivered is ‘The Creator Series’ for Nick Crosbie, Founder of AirClad X. An ambitious documentary series covering 30 years of design and innovation, captured as part of a 20 Episode series.
MOST INTERESTING?
In 2024 we were asked to support Principle Global deliver a procurement project for Aston Martin. This involved a high level of alignment with all stakeholders, and an opportunity to define a digital strategy for Aston Martin’s global showrooms.
A real pleasure to work with a super premium brand and a highly professional cohort of experts - to ensure the project was delivered to a high standard.
MOST EXCITING PROJECT?
It’s always great to work with the founders of innovative start-ups, and FanNFC was a no exception. I say that because of the potential that they have created through their innovative tech in the forever expanding fan engagement marketplace.
Uniquely, following my brand definition and commercial strategy work we completed - I was asked to join the business as a co-founder.
